The Stylist's Notebook

Trends, Tips, and the Art of Dressing Well

About

Hi, I’m Claire, a fashion stylist with a love for helping people refine their personal style and stay ahead of the trends. I have always been interested in fashion at an early age, designing dresses in my notebook, styling my Barbies, critiquing and admiring the fashion on early 2000’s Disney Channel, and that led me into learning how to sew. I received a Bachelor degree in Apparel, Textiles, and Design with a minor in Marketing in school, and after graduation I became a Bridal Stylist for many years. I received my certifications in both fashion and bridal styling during the Pandemic (instead of learning how to bake bread, which lets be honest, learning how to bake bread is an incredibly nifty skill to know). When I was in college, I maintained a fashion blog about how I was Aspiring to be a Fashionista, and quite frankly, now that I’ve been out of school for close to a decade, I’ve decided that it’s time for a rebrand with this blog. The Stylist’s Notebook is where I share styling tips and tricks that I have learned throughout my experience in my career, as well as my thoughts about everyday fashion events and shows happening in the industry. I hope by stopping by my blog you will be inspired and entertained with all things fashion. I’d love to hear from you! Let’s talk style- feel free to reach out through my contact form. Thank you for taking the time to stop by, I’m excited to have you here!
